This rare tee is an early find from the brand Premium Label. Although the Premium Label was cut out by a previous owner, this shirt matches one of the company's early designs and it features a woman tied up in bondage, and some Portuguese words which can be translated to read, "The premium clientele and the crime boss of the street prostitutes!!" Premium Label was a streetwear brand that emerged in Los Angeles during the late 90s, and they became known for juxtaposing avant-garde high fashion imagery with urban fashion.

This shirt is quintessential Premium Label, and it's also an excellent example of the way 90s fetish culture was able to bleed into the mainstream through fashion and art. Pop musicians like Madonna and Prince helped to usher fetish fashion into the mainstream, and things like leather, industrial hardware, harnesses, and corsets began cropping up both in the clubs and on the runways. This shirt is an amazing piece of apparel that demonstrates just how seamlessly fetish and fashion were able to blend together at the end of the 90s.
