This awesome sweatshirt was made for the Raider Nation and it sports double-sided graphics celebrating the Raiders football team. This shirt is copyright 1994, and it doesn't include the home city of the team, as the Raiders were on the verge of moving at the end of the 1994 NFL season. The team was originally established in Oakland in 1960, but they were relocated to Los Angeles in 1982 and they remained there until 1994. The Raiders returned to Oakland for the 1995 season amid great fanfare, and the city spent $220 million on stadium renovations to help entice the team to return.
Throughout their tenure, the Raiders have garnered one of the NFL's most passionate fan bases, and their time in Los Angeles only helped to diversify their followers. It was during that era that the team became heavily associated with west coast rap groups like N.W.A and Cypress Hill, who were often seen proudly sporting Silver and Black gear.
