This sweet shirt pays tribute to the famous Las Vegas magicians, Siegfried and Roy. The two German-born entertainers met while working on a cruise ship in 1959, and began performing together in Vegas in 1967. Originally placed 14th on the bill at the long-running Les Folies Bergere at the Tropicana, the duo steadily climbed the entertainment ranks and were eventually given their own headlining show at The Mirage. By 1999 they were the highest paid entertainers in Las Vegas and they continued to perform at the Mirage until 2003, when Roy was critically injured during a show.

Siegfried and Roy's act was famous for involving white lions and tigers, and the pair were also romantic partners. However, they kept their relationship private for most of their lives, so as not to jeopardize their careers.
