This awesome shirt is for the punk band Social Distortion, and the shirt showcases the cover image used for the release of their single "1945". While the single was first issued in 1982, this shirt looks to be from the 90s, which was when the band chose to release the song again on a compilation album titled Mainliner: Wreckage from the Past. This 1995 album featured a collection of early b-sides and singles from the group, and it was released through Time Bomb Recordings, a label created by lead singer Mike Ness after the group left Epic Records. Some other tracks featured on Mainliner were the b-sides of the original "1945" single, "Playpen" and a cover of the Rolling Stones' "Under My Thumb".

Social Distortion was born out of the Orange County hardcore scene in the 1970s, and over the years they've transitioned toward a more country influenced, cowpunk style of music. The band has seen a myriad of lineup changes, with frontman Mike Ness, remaining the sole consistent member.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. Slight discoloration on left sleeve when wearing, see pics.
