This is a tourist t-shirt from 1993 for the Sweetwater river, a tributary that runs through the southwestern part of Wyoming. The Streetwater river is famous for being part of the Oregon Trail, a wagon route used by explorers and emigrants to travel the western half of the United States throughout the early and mid 1800s.

Louis and Clark discovered the first part of the trail on their 1803 expedition of the Missouri river. It was later a popular route for the men and women of  the 1840s and 50s Gold Rush traveling to California, and one of the trails used by the Pony Express mail delivery riders of the 1860s.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. Oversized, baggy fit. This shirt is heathered white.
