Fast Rivers is a well respected business in Western North Carolina that offers exciting whitewater trips down the Nantahala River. Located within the Nantahala National Forest, the river is one of the oldest in the world, and its name comes from a Cherokee term often translated as "Land of the Noonday Sun".
