This awesome shirt is a brand new promotional tee for The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, and it's still in its original packaging from 2001. The shirt features an image of Sir Ian McKellen in his role as Gandalf the Grey, and it makes reference to his quote, "a wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to."

The Fellowship of the Ring was the first of three epic fantasy films, which brought to life J. R. R. Tolkien's beloved novel, The Lord of the Rings. All three movies were directed and shot simultaneously by Peter Jackson, and they were one of the biggest and most ambitious film projects ever undertaken. However, the movies also proved a massive success, and they're ranked among the highest grossing film franchises in history.

When it came time to cast the powerful wizard of Gandalf, Sean Connery and Patrick Stewart were some of the actors initially considered for the role. Christopher Lee, who was a big fan of the books, also expressed interest in the part, and he even sent Jackson a picture of himself dressed as a wizard, but Lee was later cast as Saruman the White.
