This amazing concert t-shirt is for the beloved R&B singer Usher from his Evolution 8701 Tour, which was recorded and later released as a live album by LaFace Records. The tour was designed to promote the singer's third studio album 8701, which was slated for release in 2000, but then pushed back several times after multiple tracks were leaked via the online music streaming service Napster. The original version of the album was going to be called All About U, but after the leaks Usher recorded new tracks and released it as 8701. The inspiration behind the new title was that Usher had first started singing at his local church back in 1987, and the album was released in 2001, making the title a combination of the two dates.

8701 premiered at the No. 4 spot on the Billboard 200 and it featured three top five singles "U Don't Have to Call", "U Got it Bad", and "U Remind Me", with the latter two also making it to number one. The two number one hits also earned the singer the Grammy Award fro Best Male R&B Vocal Performance two years in a row, which was a feat that had previously only been achieved by Luther Vandross and Stevie Wonder.

Around this time Usher was also expanding his acting portfolio. The singer had made his feature film debut in 1998 in the science fiction horror film The Faculty. After the release of 8701, he appeared in the movie Texas Rangers and also made appearances on the television shows The Twilight Zone, 7th Heaven, Moesha, and American Dreams.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are two repairs on the back, see pics.
