This vintage grunge t-shirt is from the grunge rock band Alice in Chains and their tour to support their album Dirt. Dirt was released in 1992, and helped the band receive international attention. The album was their second studio recorded release, and would become their most successful album ever. The Dirt album reached the sixth position on the US Billboard Top 200 and went 4 x platinum. Dirt spun out the hit single "Rooster". The single came out early in 1993. "Rooster" was named after guitarist Jerry Cantrell father's nickname. The song was about Cantrell Sr.'s experience fighting with the US Army in Vietnam. Jerry Cantrell said that he used the song to communicate to his dad, who had closed off talking about the war. "Rooster" would be their most popular track in the United States ranking at the seventh position of all mainstream rock tracks. The single was accompanied by other grunge singles "Would?", "Them Bones", "Angry Chair", and "Down In A Hole".

The tour included an opener from Ozzy Osbourne and his own No More Tears tour. During the tour bassist Mike Starr was kicked off the band and replaced by former Osbourne bassist Mike Inez. Before the fall leg of the tour, Alice stopped by Lollapalooza to perform alongside with Primus, Tool, and Rage Against the Machine.

This t-shirt is an Adult Extra Large.
