This cool vitnage radio tee is for the station KMEL 106.1 FM licensed to San Francisco, California and the shirt features a fun cartoon image of their camel mascot. The station adopted the KMEL call sign in 1977 after it was acquired by Century Broadcasting. They played album oriented rock and their mascot was designed by iconic psychedelic poster artist and Zap Comix cartoonist Victor Moscoso. The character prompted KMEL to refer to themselves as Camel 106. By the 1980s KMEL was a top-rated station and they were able to hire popular New York radio personality Alex Bennetts.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
