This graphic t-shirt is from the 1979 Bluegrass and Traditional Music Festival in Flint, Michigan. Bluegrass is a genre of music developed in the Appalachian Region during the 1940s. It was named after the Band Bill Munroe and the Blue Grass Boys. The songs tend to feature the sounds of banjos, fiddles, acoustic guitars, and double bass. Michigan has a Bluegrass Music Association based out of Flint.
