This minor league vintage hockey sweatshirt features the Philadelphia Firebirds, active from 1974 to 1979. They then moved to Syracuse, New York for their final season. After the Philadelphia Flyers were victorious at the 1974 Stanley Cup, the Firebirds were established in an effort to capitalize on the growing popularity of hockey in the city. Memorable players from the team include Bob Collyard, scoring 42 goals, 61 assists, and 103 points, along with Michael Plante, Gord Brooks, Denis Patry, and Pierre Henry.
