This vintage tee is dedicated to Zap Comix, an underground comic book series relevant to the youth counterculture of the late 60s. The shirt is a 1970s original, featuring a buttery soft poly cotton blend, old school graphics, and an awesome rib knit.
Zap was the model for the "comix" movement, which are self-published or small press comics focused on satire, social commentary, and topics deemed by the Comics Code Authority as too controversial or explicit for mainstream publications. Popular comix artists and cartoonists include Robery Crumb, S. Clay Wilson, Robert Williams, and Rick Griffin.
Fits like a modern women's medium. There are some worn spots on the front below the graphic, see pics. Soft and stretchy. Rib knit.
