This awesome vintage comics shirt features the Marvel superhero and X-Men team member Angel, later known as Archangel. Angel is the superhero name given to mutant Warren Kenneth Worthington III, whose mutation gives large white feathery wings that sprout from his back and grant him the ability to fly. The character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and along with Beast, Cyclops, Iceman, and Jean Grey, he appeared as one of the original X-Men in X-Men #1 back in 1963.

Being the heir of the Worthington fortune, Warren was considered to have a self-absorbed and spoiled personality. This was revised somewhat in the 80s when Warren was given a more brooding personality and his character was changed into the darker Archangel persona.

The character has been featured heavily within the comics but he has also made appearances in animated series, video games, and movies. Angels appears in both X-Men: The Last Stand where he is portrayed by Ben Foster and X-Men: Apocalypse where he is played by Ben Hardy.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium
