This awesome vintage concert tee is for the iconic new wave band the B-52s and it celebrates the group's Cosmic Thing Tour. The group was first formed in 1976 and it consisted of Kate Pierson, Fred Schneider, Keith Strictland, Ricky Wilson, and Cindy Wilson. After Ricky Wilson's death in 1985, Strictland switched from drums to lead guitar and the band continued to play as a quartet. The band became famous for their unique sound and aesthetic, which took influences from 1960s trash culture and surf rock. Some of their most beloved hit songs include "Rock Lobster", "Planet Claire", "Private Idaho", "Roam", and "Love Shack".

This tour was to help promote their fifth studio album of the same name. The success of the album served as a comeback for the group after the death of Wilson, who died of AIDS related illness. Immediately after Wilson's death, the band went on an indefinite hiatus, but they regrouped and began writing new material by 1988. Cosmic Thing ended up featuring two of the band's most memorable hits "Love Shack" and "Roam".
