Despite spending years drawing cartoons for \u003cem\u003ePlayboy\u003c\/em\u003e magazine, Kliban is more often remembered for his charming cat drawings, which were first published in a 1975 book titled \u003cem\u003eCat\u003c\/em\u003e. His cat illustrations were later printed onto a myriad of merchandise, including a series of t-shirts printed by the Hawaiian-based graphic tee company, Crazy Shirts.
