This awesome DC Comics t-shirt shows a pair of one of the most beloved superheros and supervillains, Batman and the Joker, above the words "Arch Enemies".

The Joker appeared in the debut issue of Batman published in 1940, and was originally supposed to be killed off but instead went on to become the most iconic member of the Rogues Gallery. The 80s saw a surge in the villain's popularity as comics in general took a darker turn. This was the time when iconic Joker driven stories like "A Death in the Family" and The Killing Joke were released.

Batman and the Joker's relationship has developed overtime through numerous portrayals. They've been shown on the silver screen with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson playing them in the 1989 Tim Burton film simply titled Batman. They were later seen clashing in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight, played by Christian Bale and the late Heath Ledger. Their battles were also depicted in a series of cartoons and video games including Batman: the Animated Series, where the characters were voiced by Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill, who is known more widely for his role as Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise.

This shirt fits like a modern adult unisex Medium. It is deadstock unworn with light discoloration. The blue is puffy paint.
