This vintage tee pays tribute to The Church Lady aka Enid Strict, from the SNL sketch series dating back to 1986. It's an eighties original loaded with old school graphics, a strong cotton feel, and plenty of life left.

The Church Lady aka Enid was a fictional character and brilliantly thought up by Saturday Night Live cast member Dana Carvey. She is best remembered for her "holier than-thou" mentality, smug comments, and just being an uptight Christian televangelist. Enid would invite celebrity guests on her talk show, Church Chat, where she would praise them in sarcasm and eventually transition into full-blown tirades degrading them for their unholy ways.

In addition to her amusing personality, Enid Strict had a very iconic aesthetic consisting of old school wire-rimmed glasses, stockings up to the knees, and the purple dress and sweater combo. Her famous catchphrase was "Well, isn't that special?" and "Could it be...SATAN?" Another memorable antic of Enid's was the "Superior Dance", where she would get down to pipe organ music before her inferiors.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. Repair on the back of the sleeve, see pics.
