This amazing vintage tour shirt is for the heavy metal band Dokken for the Back for the Attack Tour. The tour was used to promote the fourth studio album of the band. Back for the Attack was released in 1987 from Elektra Records and was the band's best-selling album, reaching No. 13 on the Billboard 200. It included three singles which all charted on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart "Prisoner", "Burning Like a Flame", and "Dream Warriors". The last single "Dream Warriors" was originally released as the theme song for the horror movie developed by Wes Craven, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.

Following the release of the album, Dokken was invited to perform at the 1988 Monster of Rock Tour alongside Van Halen, Scorpions, Metallica, and Kingdom Come. They also released a live album shortly afterwards titled, Beast from the East which documented their 1988 tour of Japan. The band broke up the following year due to creative and personal differences. During the split, guitarist George Lynch formed the band Lynch Mob.
