This vintage tee is an original promo piece for Easten Air Lines, a major American airline between 1926 and 1991. EAL was one of the "Big Four" domestic airlines created by the Spoils Conferences. Eddie Rickenbacker, famed for his contributions in World War I as a flying ace, headed the Spoils Conferences early on. After the Eastern ceased operations, USAir and Delta Air Lines acquired most of their aircraft. American Airlines took over much of their routes to Miami, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
