Numerous celebrities took part including Michael Jackson, Yoko Ono, Brooke Shields, Liza Minnelli, future President Bill Clinton, and President Ronald Regan. HAA went on to raise about $15 million which was donated to local charities in combating hunger, homelessness, poverty.
