This awesome vintage tee features a cartoon creation from the mind of Gilbert Shelton. Shelton was a prominent figure of the underground comix movement of the 1960s and 70s. His work appeared in underground publications like Zap Comix, Bijou Funnies, Yellow Dog, Anarchy Comics, Arcade, and The Rip Off Review of Western Culture.

This shirt features Wonder Wart-Hog, a porcine parody of Superman, that was first published in 1962. The character made its debut briefly in Bacchana!, a short-lived college humor magazine produced by the staff of the University of Texas's magazine The Texas Ranger. Shelton later became the editor of The Texas Ranger and used the magazine to publish more stories about his absurdist superhero. The character would later appear in DRAG Cartoons, Zap Comix, and Rip off Comix as well.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are several holes and light paint stains, see pics.
