This sweet gray vintage shirt is from a performance by the Grammy Award winning jazz vocal group, The Manhattan Transfer along with their L. Dorado Kaddy comedic act. The Manhattan Transfer were founded in 1969 and they specialized in a capella, swing, rhythm & blues, and pop styles. The group released several albums throughout the 80s including Bodies and Souls, Bop Doo-Wopp, Vocalese, and Brasil. During live performances the band would sing their song "Killer Joe" accompanied by the funny performance of L. Dorado, as portrayed by band member Tim Hauser. His character's name was a satire of the Cadillac convertible car the "El Dorado". The front of this shirt has a cartoon drawing of L. Dorado in his yellow duster, sunglasses and red pants. The back has a confetti design for Manhattan Transfer. The t-shirt is a jersey style with three quarter length blue sleeves.
