This sweet vintage muscle tee is for the 1984 tour of heavy metal guitarist Lita Ford. Ford began her professional career in the mid 70s at the age of 16, when she was recruited to become the lead guitarist of the all-female punk band the Runaways. Known for their hit "Cherry Bomb", The Runaways consisted of Lita Ford, Sandy West, Jackie Fox, Joan Jett, and Cherie Currie. The band dissolved in 1979 and Ford went on to start her solo career. 

She signed with Mercury Records and launched her first solo album, Out for Blood. Her second album, Dancin' on the Edge, was released in 1984 and was met with more commercial success.The album included the Top 10 singles "Fire in My Heart" and "Gotta Let Go", which reached number one on the Mainstream Rock charts.She recorded several more albums including Lita in 1988. The album included the singles "Falling Out of Love" which was co-written by Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue, and "Close My Eyes Forever", a duet she performed with Ozzy Osbourne. Ford continues to tour and release music, and her most recent project is Lita Ford Guitars.
