This cool vintage shirt celebrates the Marshall Tucker Band and it is a keepsake from a New Year's Eve concert that the group played in 1985 to ring in 1986. First formed in 1972, the Marshall Tucker Band became known for their electric sound which also incorporated elements of country, jazz, and blues. They were a leading figure in the development of southern rock during the early 70s.
The original lineup for the Marshall Tucker Band consisted of Toy Caldwell, Doug Gray, Jerry Eubanks, George McCorkie, Paul Riddle, and Tommy Caldwell, but by the mid 80s only Gray and Eubanks remained out of this initial lineup. The band had reached their commercial peak in the 70s, but they still continued to put out music like 1988's aptly titled Still Holdin' On. The band is remembered for hits like "Can't You See", "Fire on the Mountain", and "Heard It in a Love Song".
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is very soft and thin with small holes, see pics.
