This bright red t-shirt commemorates an event held by the Muscular Dystrophy Association of MDA. The shirt celebrates the Fourth Annual Tenneco/Muscular Dystrophy Four-Man Golf Scramble. The MDA was first started back in 1950, by New York businessman Paul Cohen, who was living with muscular dystrophy. Cohen formed the group in order to address the urgent need for funds to help research and treat neuromuscular diseases. Since then the organization has held a variety of fundraising events, such as the live annual telethon which used to be hosted by actor and comedian Jerry Lewis.
