This cool vintage hockey tee roots for the professional team the Minnesota North Stars. The North Stars were one of six expansion teams that were introduced to the NHL in the late 60s. A public contest was held to help determine the name of the new team, which was inspired by Minnesota's French motto, "L'Etoile du Nord", which translates to "The Star of the North". This shirt is from the 80s, when the North Stars enjoyed several winning seasons thanks to players like Dino Ciccarelli and Neal Broten, the latter of which had been a part of the 1980 US Olympic hockey team known for their "Miracle on Ice" win against the Soviet Union.

The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small. There is some screen burn from the printing on the front of the shirt, see pics.
