This sweet raglan shirt is from the 80s and it features a portrait of singer-songwriter Neil Diamond. Diamond's music has included a blend of rock, pop, folk, and country sounds and he is one of the greatest-selling musicians of all time with over 100 million records sold. Some of his most popular hits include "Song Sung Blue", "I've Been This Way Before", Desiree", "You Don't Bring Me Flowers", "America", "If You Know What I Mean", and his 1969 signature classic "Sweet Caroline" which was selected by the Library of Congress in 2019 to be preserved in the National Recording Registry.
During the 80s, when this shirt was made, Diamond starred in a remake of the Al Johnson film The Jazz Singer alongside Laurence Olivier and Lucie Arnez. The movie received poor reviews but its soundtrack did spawn three top ten hits for Diamond, "Love on the Rocks", "Hello Again", and "America". The decade also saw the release of this popular song "Heartlight" which was used in the 1982 movie E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.
