This sweet vintage polo shirt was made in the 80s by the popular sportswear brand Nike, and the shirt features Nike's iconic swoosh logo embroidered onto the chest. The Nike swoosh was developed by graphic design student, Carolyn Davidson in 1971. Davidson met Nike co-founder Phil Knight while he was teaching at Portland State University, and Knight began paying Davidson to do some freelance work for his company, which was still called Blue Ribbon Sports at the time. After the swoosh logo was created the name was changed to Nike, in reference to the Greek goddess of victory.

This short sleeved polo shirt features a rib knit collar and tennis tails along the bottom. The back hem is longer than the front, and the shirt is made from a nice thick cotton blended material.
