This awesome vintage tee is from the 80s, and it is a souvenir from the world's first ever commercial laser tag arena, Photon. Photon was first conceived back in the late 70s by George Carter III, who came up with the concept while watching Star Wars. The first Photon center opened in Garlard, Texas in 1984 and Photon's first franchisee opened in Toronto a year later.
Players could purchase a photo ID badge and then paid a per-game fee to participate. They would join either the red or green team and then try to score points by shooting other players with an infrared gun. The game arenas featured multiple levels, catwalks, mazes, and even an observation deck where audiences could watch gameplay. Games also featured strobe effects, smoke machines, and a dramatic soundtracks composed by Ken Cailat, who also was the engineer on Fleetwood's Mac iconic album Rumors.
Photon also spawned a home laster tag game, a television series, and a series of novels written by Peter David who is best known for his work writing The Incredible Hulk comics. The game certainly earned its title as "The Ultimate Game on Planet Earth".
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is very soft and thin, and it has several small holes, see pics.
