Starring Dolly Parton and Sylvester Stallone, the film follows a singer, played by Parton, in a sleazy bar called "The Rhinestone," who claims she can turn anyone into a country music star. Her manager at the bar takes the bet and challenges Parton to make-over a NYC taxi driver, played by Stallone. Rhinestone was considered a box office and critical flop but the soundtrack produced two top ten country hits by Parton; "Tennessee Homsick Blues" and "God Won't Get You."
