This cool vintage tee is for rock musician Sammy Hagar and includes the phrase "Rock is in My Blood" in reference to his song of the same title. Known as the "Red Rocker", Hagar rose to fame with his band Montrose in the 70s. From there he progressed onto a successful solo career, before replacing David lee Roth as the lead singer in Van Halen.

"Rock is in My Blood" debuted on Hagar's eighth studio album, VOA. This was the same album that featured his hit song "I Can't Drive 55", which reached number 9 on the Mainstream Rock charts and number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was inspired by a drive Hagar took in a rental car from Albany to lake Placid. After a cop pulled Hagar over for speeding, Hagar responded, "I can't drive 55".

VOA was also Hagar's last solo album before joining Van Halen. David Lee Roth departed Van Halen after the release of their album 1984, mainly due to artistic differences. Eddie Van Halen initially extended an invitation to Patti Smyth of Scandel to replace the singer, but she declined. That's when he was introduced to Hagar. During his time with the band, Hagar went on to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

This shirt fits like a modern unisex adult XXL. There are some holes at the bottom, see pics.
