This vintage tourist shirt is a souvenir from the Sands Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The building was formerly the site of the Brighton Hotel & Casino but it was eventually closed and demolished in 1959. The Sands was then opened in 1980, and at its peak it hosted a plethora of high profile entertainers including Frank Sinatra, Cher, Liza Minelli, Bob Dylan, Robin Williams, Eddie Murphey, and Whitney Houston. The Sands was eventually eclipsed by the newer Atlantic casinos and it closed in 2006.
The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small. There is a repair on the front, see pics.
