This cool vintage ringer is from the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington D.C. and it features an image of two giant pandas. In 1972 the Chinese government donated two giant pandas named Ling-Ling and Hsing-Hsing to the United States. First Lady, Pat Nixon, then donated the pandas to the National Zoo. They were the first pandas to ever live in American and proved to be an incredibly popular attraction for the zoo. Both pandas lived there for several years until Ling-Ling passed away in 1992. Hsing-Hsing later died in 1999.
