This vintage baseball tee celebrates the 1985 National League MLB Champions the St. Louis Cardinals. That year the Cardinals beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in six games in the National League Championship Series. This allowed them to advance to the World Series where they faced off against the American League Champions, the Kansas City Royals. The Cardinals unfortunately lost the Series to their cross-state rivals, but the series is remembered for a controversial ruling made by umpire DonDenkinger, in which he declared Jorge Orta of the Royals safe, despite the call being refuted by the broadcast's instant replay.
