This awesome vintage 80s jersey comes from New York City's disco club called the Fun House. The club first opened in Manhattan in '79, featuring DJ Jim Burgess on opening night along with Bobby Guttadaro. Jonathan Fearing would become the club's first resident DJ, later followed by John "Jellybean" Benitez from 1981 until '84. The phrase, "Jellybean Rocks the House," originated at the Fun House.
Featuring disco, house, and experimental dance music, the Fun House was among the best spots to dance in New York in the 80s. The graphic on this shirt features the club's infamous clown logo, with "The Fun House," discreetly written in his red wig. This image was also painted on the DJ booth., emphasizing the carnival theme of the nightclub. The Fun House closed in 1985, but its heyday had already passed.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. This shirt has paint spots on the back of the sleeves, see pics. It is soft and thin.
