This amazing tie dye vintage rock tee is for the wildly popular English rock band The Who for their 25th Anniversary Tour also known as The Kids Are Alright Reunion Tour. It was named for their hit song off their debut album. This was the band's second of several reunions and reformations. The Who was first founded in the 60s as a group called the Detours which consisted of members Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, and John Entwistle. They later met drummer, Keith Moon during a gig as he was performing with a band called the Beachcombers. The Who was impressed with his energy and offered him a job as their drummer.
The group rose to fame throughout the 60s and 70s and some of their most memorable singles included "My Generation", "Pinball Wizard", and "Won't Get Fooled Again". They released the album Who Are You in 1978 but it was overshadowed by the death of Keith Moon. Kenney Jones replaced Moon and the group was determined to continue on, however the band split in 1983. They reformed to appear at the Live Aid concert at Wembley Stadium. Their next reunion was the 25th Anniversary Tour which featured Simon Phillips on drums as well as several guests including Phil Collins, Billy Idol, and Elton John who helped perform selections from the album Tommy.
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. There are several small holes, see pics.
