This sweet double-sided muscle tee is for the band U2 and it commemorates the group's third studio album titled War. The back of the shirt mentions one of the song's off the album "New Year's Day". War was the band's first overtly political album and some of the other songs included "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "Seconds", "Two Hearts Beat as One", and "Red Light". The album focused on the physical aspects of warfare as well as the emotional after-effects. In terms of music, it delivered a harsher sound than their previous releases Boy and October. War managed to take the number one spot on the UK charts, even managing to beat out Michael Jackson's Thriller.
The band launched a tour that lasted from 1983 to 1984 in support of the album. They performed in Western Europe, United States, and Japan, and footage from the tour was used in their live concert film U2 Live At Red Rocks: Under A Blood Red Sky. They also established a tradition of closing concerts with the song "40" off of War.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt has a cut neck and cut sleeves, see pics.
