This shirt is from the Irish rock band U2 and it commemorates their 1983 international tour called the War Tour after their newly released third album with the same name. The tour lasted from 1983-1984 and the band performed in Western Europe, United States, and Japan. Footage from the tour was also used in their live concert film U2 Live At Red Rocks: Under A Blood Red Sky.
War was the band's first overtly political album and it included the songs "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "New Year's Day". The album focused on the physical aspects of warfare as well as the emotional after-effects. In terms of music, it delivered a harsher sound than their previous releases Boy and October. War managed to take the number one spot on the UK charts, even managing to beat out Michael Jackson's Thriller.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is distressed. It is soft and thin with several small holes, see pics.
