This amazing band shirt is for the heavy metal group Van Halen for their 1984 Tour. The front of the shirt features a sweet Mecha-Godzilla like character while the back says Van Halen Kicks Ass. The 1984 album was the band's sixth studio album and it would be the last one to feature lead singer David Lee Roth, until the 2012 release A Different Kind of Truth. It was the final album to feature all four founding members of the band. The album sold over 10 million copies and peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200, only being beaten out by Michael Jackson's Thriller. It included some of the band's most iconic singles including "Jump", "I'll Wait", "Panama", and "Hot for Teacher" whose music video received significant airtime on MTV.

Despite the success of the album, the tour wound of being the breaking point of the band. Rising tensions over artistic differences lead David Lee Roth to quit. He was later replaced by Sammy Hagar, who was introduced to Eddie Van Halen by an auto mechanic.
