This awesome double-sided shirt is for the 80s rock band Van Halen and the shirt is from the band's massive 1984 world tour that helped to promote their 6th studio album 1984. The album was a huge success selling over 10 million copies and becoming certified diamond. It included the singles "Jump", "Panama", "I'll Wait" and the MTV favorite "Hot for Teacher". The album peaked at number two on the Billboard 200, surpassed only by Michael Jackson's Thriller. This was the last album to feature all four original members of the band and the last to include lead singer David Lee Roth until 2012.

Roth made the decision to leave the group during the 1984 Tour. He left in 1985 and created his own virtuoso solo band. Meanwhile Van Halen searched for Roth's replacement. Eddie Van Halen approached Patty Smyth of Scandel but she declined, then he met Sammy Hagar through a mutual friend. Hagar had recently released his hit single "I Can't Drive 55" and he wound up being the perfect replacement.

The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small. This shirt is deadstock, unworn.
