This vintage shirt is from the 1982 World's Fair and it features a henley style collar and three-quarter length sleeves. The World's Fair, which was also called the Knoxville International Energy Exposition was held in Knoxville, Tennessee and the theme was "Energy Turns the World". For the fair, a structure called the Sunsphere was built. It was a 266 foot tall steel tower topped with a five story gold globe, and it served as the main structure and symbol for the event. During the fair, Texaco introduced their concept for pay at the pump gas and the Coca-Cola company debuted Cherry Coke.
