This vintage Chicago Bulls tee celebrates the team's 1998 NBA finals victory over the Utah Jazz. The t-shirt features caricature drawings of all the '98 Bulls, including Hall-of-Famers Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen, Toni Kukoc, and six time NBA Finals MVP, Michael Jordan. With impressive rosters and the leadership of coach Phil Jackson, the 90s were a wildly successful decade for the team. Not only was the 1998 NBA Finals win their third NBA title in a row, but it was their second 3-peat of the decade, making it their sixth title of the 90s.
Despite the absence of their All-Star forward Scottie Pippen, during the first half of the season, the Bulls still finished first in their division with a 62-20 record for the regular season.Advancing onto the playoffs the team dominated until they reached the Finals. 1998 was the second season in a row that the NBA Finals saw a face-off between the Bulls and the Jazz and it was a nail biter right up until the finals seconds of Game 6. Jordan scored a game winning layup, but the team still had the chance to lose if the Jazz managed one last basket. With only about 5 seconds left on the clock, Bryon Russel missed the last shot of the game and sealed the Bull's victory.
