This awesome vintage basketball jersey reps #2 of the Denver Nuggets, Alex English. English played for the Nuggets from 1980 to 1990, and he also played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers, Dallas Mavericks, and Basket Napoli. He was considered the star player during his time on the Nuggets, and he ended up leading the team to nine consecutive playoff appearances. With his help, the Nuggets also won two Midwest Division titles, and reached the 1985 Western Conference Finals. His Nuggets jersey was retired in 1992 and he was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1997.  

English later went on to coach for the NBA, serving as the assistant coach for the Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors, and Sacramento Kings. He also became the first-ever director of player programs for the National Basketball Player Association, and he worked in the Sport's Diplomacy's Sports Envoy program for the US Department of State.
