This t-shirt from the band INXS' 1991 world tour, Summer XS.The Australian rock band formed in 1977 under the name The Farriss Brothers and featured bassist Garry Gary Beers, composer and keyboard player Andrew Farriss, drummer Jon Farriss, guitarist Tim Farriss, lead singer and lyricist Michael Hutchence and guitarist and saxophonist Kirk Pengilly. The shirt features photos on the front and back of the band members.The band was originally known for their new wave/pop sound, but later developed a harder rock style with funk and dance elements. The band achieved international success in the mid-to-late 80s and early 90s with their albums Listen Like Thieves, Kick, and and singles "Need You Tonight, "Devil Inside" and "What You Need." The band was touring the album X, which peaked at number 5 on the US charts, number 2 in the UK and number 3 in Australia with hits such as "Suicide Blonde" and "Diappear". INXS played a sold out show at Wembley Stadium in London on this tour on July 13, 1991 and was recorded and filmed for the Live Baby Live live album and video.
