This vitnage football shirt celebrates the 1996 Jacksonville Jaguars team. 1996 was the team's second season in the NFL and lead by head coach Tom Coughlin, they managed to qualify for their first ever playoff season. The Jaguars faced off against the Buffalo Bills in the wild card playoffs and managed to win despite the Bills hosting Hall of Fame players like Bruce Smith and Andre Reed. They also won the next game against the Denver Broncos, gaining the lead thanks to a touchdown pass from Mark Brunell to Jimmy Smith. Finally the Jaguars made it to the AFC Championship game, where they unfortunately lost out on a trip to the Super Bowl when the New England Patriots defeated them 20 to 6.
