This cool vintage hockey tee celebrates the IHL team the Kalamazoo Wings and it commemorates their 1995-1996 season when they qualified for the Turner Cup Playoffs. The Wings actually changed their name during the playoffs from the Kalamazoo Wings to the Michigan Wings and they managed to make it to the Conference Semifinals. The Wings missed out on a shot at the Conference Finals when they lost to the Cincinnati Cyclones. The team played for the International Hockey League up until 2000, and they played their home games at Wings Stadium, which is the home of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings.
