The venue has since hosted a number of outdoor concerts featuring high profile musical acts.

During June of 1990, Knebworth was the site of the Silver Clef Award Winners concert. The Silver Clef Awards were first started in 1976 in order to honor outstanding artists while also raising money for creative music therapy. The 1990 concert featured performances by Cliff Richards and the Shadows, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Phil Collins with Genesis, Status Quo, Tears for Fears, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Robert Plant, and Jimmy Page. The concert was recorded and later released on DVD.
