This awesome vintage t-shirt is for the annual rock music festival Lollapalooza. The festival was first created by Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell in 1991. It was conceived as a part of Jane's Addiction's farewell tour but grew into a massively popular yearly event which showcased various alternative, punk, metal, and hip hop artists. The festival continued until 1997 and was later revived in 2003. The festival also expanded in 2010, reaching outside the United States for the first time with a performance in Chile.
This sweet double-sided shirt is from the 1993 festival and the back features a list of some of the various performers. The 1993 lineup included Alice in Chains, Primus, Dinosaur Jr., Fishbone, Arrested Development, Front 242, Babes in Toyland, Tool, Rage Against the Machine, Cell, The Goats, Mercury Rev, Unrest, The Coctails, Free Kitten, and Girls Against Boys.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There is a repair near the bottom, see pics.
