The Kingsmen were a 1960s garage rock band from Portland, Oregon. Their recording of Richard Berry's "Louie Louie" managed to hold the number two spot on the Billboard charts for six weeks, making it their definitive claim to fame. The band managed to have eleven other charted singles and they released five consecutive albums between 1963 and 1966. "Louie Louie" gained additional fame when it was banned by the governor of Indiana Matthew E. Welsh who believed the song contained some hidden indecent lyrics. The song was actually totally clean but lead singer Jack Ely's poor pronouciation allowed listeners to assume the worst.
The tag says large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult medium
